[Roadkill and Juliet]

Rom com

What an odd story. One which was dark in a way seeings that it all might just be in the girls head.
I liked the style to this, a bit of Vinnie and your own personal style of animation with one frame jumps into the next pose. The girl was very well animated what with the frindge at the front moving which is something a lot of animators would have ignored. Moreover you had some kind of insight into the neature of the girl in the way that she held her hands and herself, brilliant attention to detail Because of this you have a sense of feeling for the character making her memorable.
I'm not going to pass any judgment on the music appart from it was good for the movie but I woulden't personally listen to it myself.
That plot though was as weird as a beard, I think I'm the only one who thought that the half-pint goths (emos) have started some kind of underground world domination what with the Emo police and all.
Anyway I've lost the sight in my left eye so I think I'll go and have a lie down now.

I'm glad you caught that "Maybe she's just crazy vibe" too. I'll admit that the fact that it's all in the girl's head has a certain possiblitity--but it's so much fun to see it as pioneers into a new frontier of love, girls and hawks, why not?

I'm appreciative that you so kindly acknoledged the level of detail in the movie--and that you'd would note that the song choice was good for the animation even despite the fact that it wouldn't make it into your personal .mp3 archive.

Quick fix

I don't know why people are complaining about why this is on the front page. It's here, there is absolutely nothing you can do about it and most importantly it's Tom's site. Submitting a review rasping on about how this dosen't deserve to be FP'd is as pointless as putting your middle finger up to a blind man.
It's good for a quick laugh but that's about it. Now that I've got that off my chest I'm going back to dip me feet in moderately warm jam.

Innovative

Firstly, I had to watch the chicken walk past at least nine or ten times before starting the animation that hypnotized stare was worth watching more than once.
I started off slow, but I didn't notice it. I was as curious as the chicken not knowing what was inside the egg. The reason I probably didn't notice was the frame-by-frame animation of such simple yet charming movements. The egg was incredible, the idea of it being a mouth was very innovative thinking of image play and it was completely unexpected.
Lastly the head being eaten was that last jolt into how dark this animation was despite the cute graphics and the happless chicken that killed him/her. God knows what came first the chicken or the egg, but at least the egg gets a meal out of it.

Has Gordon Freeman been moonlighting as Major Tom?

Very simple and effective graphics here, the same goes for character design which is worthy of 'Pictoplasma'. Although you said the animation slips a little out of sink I personally didn't notice anything, the animation fitted the music perfectly.
Nice camera work with the spinning pod and fading in and out, I'd love to see more of this kind of thing. It would please the ignorant masses.

Lovely stuff

The attention to detail was impressive, anyone else would have just ignored the buildings in the background as 3D objects. Emotions are over rated. He's a lucky lad.

Oh dear

I try to find good points about every movie on Newgrounds, but I can't find any about this one. Using the clock crew AND Kill Bill was a bad idea to draw such attention to a truly diabolical film. There was absolutely no animation, the sound quality wasn't brilliant and as far as I know this film wasn't finished.
